Enter the Contractors Progress Claim

Contrack

Navigate to [https://contrack.com.au/](https://contrack.com.au/)

Click the "Contractual" dropdown in the side navigation bar. You will notice the Dashboard is blank as the Contract is in its first claim period, with no payment certified to date.

Click "Progress Claims"

Expand the Schedule or Schedules as required.

The RED column is editable, and is the Contractors claim "This Period". In this example, the claim period is August 2024. Enter the Contractors claimed quantity against each Schedule Item. E.g the Contractor claimed 0.1 of the Lumpsum for Item 20001.01 - Provision for traffic.

Repeat the above step for all schedule items and quantities claimed by the Contractor.

After entering all the claimed quantities against the Items, the total at the bottom should match the Contractors Payment Claim amount. In this example, the Contractor claimed a progress payment of $77,734.50 in August 2024, and the value calculated by Contrack is also $77,734.50.

Due to differences in how rounding is applied or human error, there can be times when the Contractors Progress Claim amount does not match the amount calculated by Contrack. This can be easily resolved, refer to the "Using Temporary Claim Item" guide.

Click the "SAVE" button to save the Progress Claim.

A green confirmation box with "Progress Claim saved" will appear.

You can view the progress of the Payment Claim on the "Dashboard"

The dashboard will show a progress bar of the Current Claim Period.

You can now start certifying the Contractors payment claim. The progress bar in the step above will continuously update as you certify works for payment.
