Amazon

Navigate to Amazon and ensure you are signed in. Then, click on "Account & Lists" at the top of the screen.

Click "Create a List"

Enter the list name. Lists must be formatted as: RAoC YEAR - Child's name

Click "Create"

Click the three dots to the right side of your new list. Then click, "manage list."

Under the privacy drop down box, change to public or shared. Shared means individuals who have the direct link can see it.

Click "Don’t manage this list through Alexa." We don't suggest managing this list through Alexa as accidental deletions can occur that can cause removal from the sub.

You may remove identifying information from the recipient field.

Birthday and email are not required. We recommend putting a description of the child's likes in the description box. Then, click the shipping address box to select the correct shipping address from your Amazon address book. If it is not present, you'll need to add it.

Click the "Keep purchased items on this list" field. This is a requirement.\ \ All Amazon wish-lists must allow “Purchased” items to be seen. - If your wish-list doesn’t have this option, your registration will not be approved. - If the “Purchased” sort option is removed from a wish-list, the user's registration will be revoked until it has been reinstated. You decide whether to click "don't spoil my surprises." If you keep it clicked, ensure that you open all packages you receive quickly so you can notify your Santa of receipt.

Click the "Let buyers ship additional items not on this list to my shipping address" if you would like. This allows buyers to send additional items if they choose to. It does not mean you will necessarily receive additional items.

Click "Save Changes."

To add items, begin searching Amazon like you normally would.

After selecting an item your child would like on their wishlist, find the "add to list" dropdown and select the appropriate list.\ \ Non-gift items may not be requested. - Some examples include: beds, bedding, furniture, other essential basic needs, diapers, food, gift cards. - There are other Reddit subs that can help in these areas, such as [/r/Assistance](https://www.reddit.com/r/Assistance) - Tip: Santas tend to appreciate items with Prime and a variety of price points. - Remember, lists should have 10 items. 5 items can be up to $55 and the rest must be at or below $25.

Once you've added the item to the appropriate list, you'll have the option to view your list or keep shopping.

IMPORTANT! Once your list has been built, you must remove the option to "purchase this elsewhere." This is REQUIRED. Removing this button helps ensure you get support and no trolls mark your wish list purchased when it has not been. - The only way to do this is by calling Amazon Registry customer service, asking a representative to go to your wish-list, and having them toggle off the column option for “buying this elsewhere." - If the representative doesn’t know how to do it, please ask for a supervisor.

To view your list again or to get your url, click on "accounts & lists" then select the list you'd like to view.

To get your url for sharing the list with the mods, navigate to the wish list and click the box with an upward arrow in the upper right corner of the list.

Ensure you select "VIEW ONLY"

Click "Copy link." Include it in the wish list section of your application.
