ShareScope: How to Create a Custom Asset

This feature lets you create and track investments that aren’t already available on the platform. For example, if you own an Australian stock that we don’t currently cover, you can add it yourself as a new instrument. You can then enter its OHLC (Open, High, Low, Close) values so you can easily track how it’s performing over time within your account.

[Login to ShareScope](https://webservice.sharescope.co.uk/login.do)

Click the **Options** (cog icon) located in the top-right corner of ShareScope

Click "Create Custom Asset..."

In the window, enter the required details. All values must be unique and not already exist in the system, then click **OK**.

Click **OK**.

To locate the instrument you just created, click **Other Lists**.

In the menu that appears, select **Custom Assets** in the top-right corner of the window.

The blue list table now displays all custom assets you've created in your account.
