1
Go to the Site Diary by selecting it from the main menu.
2
You'll see a list of outstanding or rejected diaries which you must attend to, click the date of the diary you would like to attend to.
3
If you selected a date which was a non-working day then you may click the "waive this site diary" button to remove the diary from your list of outstanding diaries instead of submitting a blank diary.
4
Otherwise you can start compiling your diary by adding records under the headings shown. Click the "+" icon in the heading you would like to add a record to.
5
Complete the form that appears. Fields with bold red labels must be completed, other fields are optional.
6
Click "add" to add your new record to the diary.
As soon as you add a record to the diary it is saved as a draft so you can come back later to the diary and carry on editing (until you submit)
7
You can click the "+" icon again to add another record under the same heading you just added a record to. You can add as many records as you like under any heading - it is better to add many records than just one record.
8
To edit a record after adding you click the pencil icon to make changes to the record. You can also remove a record by clicking the red cross next to the pencil.
9
In this example we are editing a record of work performed by adding the quantity and then the unit.
10
We click "update" to commit our changes.
11
To add your manpower and plant click the "+" icon in the "Resources on site" heading (this section works a bit differently to the others).
12
Change the Qty from 0 to the number of people of the various trades that were on site and change the Hrs to show the number of hours they each worked - in the example below we have 10 boilermakers who worked 8 hours each.
13
Once you're done editing the Manpower click on "Plant & Equipment" and do the same here to show how many items of each type of plant you had on site.
14
When you're done click "update" to commit your records to the diary.
15
If you've submitted a diary for this contract before then you could've clicked the clipboard icon to copy resources from that diary. Click the "+" icon after copying to make changes for the day you are compiling a diary for.
16
When you are done compiling your diary click the "submit this site diary" button at the bottom of the page.
