How to Create Your Own Reports

Produce and access clear, exportable reports that match your exact needs by "Report Builder" feature in Modaltrans. This guide shows how to build custom user reports — either by customizing ready-made templates or creating reports from scratch. It explains selecting subject/scope, choosing and editing columns (rename, reorder, remove), adding totals, naming/exporting the report, and where to find saved/generated reports.

Modaltrans

Go to **Reports**

Click "Design Report Template"

Create User Reports by Customising Default Reports

Select one of the ready-made reports

Click "Columns" to edit the report columns: - Rename - Reorder - Remove

Click "Next" to continue and save the report

Create User Reports from Scratch

Click "Create new" and select the report subject/scope

You can filter specific parameters while creating the report

Click "Next" to continue

Select the report columns you need

Click "Columns" to edit the report columns: - Rename - Reorder - Remove

Click "Next" to continue

You can add total row to the report

Click "Next" to continue

Name the report and select the export format then click "Save"

You can now view the report

Give Other Users Access to Your Reports

Go to **Reports > User Reports**

Click "Report Definitions"

Click "Authorisation" on three-dot menu of the report

Click the purple "Settings" button and add the users you want to give access to the report
