Getting Started with LinkedIn Learning

Learn how to set up your LinkedIn Learning account, including the option to connect your LinkedIn profile to access customized learning paths tailored to your specific professional goals.

Navigate to [LinkedIn Learning](https://www.linkedin.com/learning/?u=474183714) and sign-in via SSO.

Your first time signing in, select whether or not you would like to connect your personal LinkedIn account. *(This is not required, but is recommended to get the most out of LinkedIn Learning's personalization features.)*

If you select "Connect my LinkedIn Account", and you are logged in to your personal LinkedIn account in another browser, it will automatically prompt you to "Accept and Continue". If you are not currently logged in, it will prompt you to do so with username and password of your personal account.

LinkedIn Learning will then use your profile information (if you have connected your personal account) to suggest common career goals based on your role and experience. You will be prompted to select an option, or to choose a different career goal. *If you do not connect your personal LinkedIn account, you will be prompted to select career interests manually.*

Tip: If you have a unique job title, LinkedIn Learning may not have sufficient market data to suggest an accurate career goals map. You do have the option to manually enter or edit career interests on the "My Career Plan" page. (See Step 9)

Based on the skills required and your personal experience (if you connected your personal account), LinkedIn Learning will prompt you to "Create my learning plan".

Preview your personal plan.

Click "Get started with this plan" or "Try a different goal".

View your career plan and learning path.

You can click on courses to begin your path, or edit your goal in the "Goals" box by selecting the pencil icon.

If interested, select "Explore a different career".

Click a popular role, such as "Project Manager", or type in a role.

Review the learning plan.

Click "Get started with this plan".

Click this icon to open the menu.

Click "Home".
