Agents: Adding and Removing A Shareholder Through Mapping

This guide shows agents how to add, bulk-add, and remove shareholders within the AgriSompo mapping system, including linking rules and required acreage updates so policy changes are reflected correctly. It explains step-by-step actions in the map interface and points to short training videos and university resources for visual walkthroughs and deeper help.

Adding a Shareholder in Mapping

At the policy level, click on the "Mapping Icon" to open the mapping system.

Click on the field or fields you would like to add a shareholder to. This will turn the field white with a red boundary line.

Click "Plant" from the black box in the upper left corner of the screen.

Add a planting if one is not already established. At minimum, fill in crop-county and unit.

Click on the **Shareholder** button.

Select an insured.

Select a unit. Hovering over a unit will display any additional information that has been entered in AgriNet.

Click the + sign to add another shareholder.

Click "Save" when finished.

Mapping Bulk Shareholder Tool

Select the fields on the map to work with. The fields will have turn white with a red perimeter when selected.

Click "to Unit/Share"

Use the drop-down menu to filter the commodities.

Select a unit from the Unit drop-down menu. Hover over the unit to view additional details.

Click "+" to add the shareholder(s)

Select the Shareholder's name from the drop-down menu.

Click the blue "+" sign to add an additional shareholder.

Select a unit from the drop-down menu for the shareholder. Hover over the unit for additional details.

Click "Save" once all changes have been made. The shareholder is now added to all selected fields.

Removing a Shareholder in Mapping

Click the "Link" icon next to the policy needing to be unlinked.

Click "Save" to save the changes.

Once a shareholder has been linked, any reporting changes will be reflected on the shared policy.

While the CLU information is linked. The companion policy will need to have the Acreage lines updated and an Acreage Report scanned in and corresponding date information keyed in.
