How To: Add a Content Item in Experience Editor

Login to Sitecore

Click on the page you'd like to add a content item to.

Click "Publish"

Click "Experience Editor"

lock and edit the page (the yellow banner)

Click here.

Add "Content-Content" (it should be one of the first ones you can see) If you don't have the option to add this component, you may have clicked on the wrong 'Add here' button. Close the window and try again.

Click "Select"

It may auto populate, but if not, click "More"

Click "Edit component properties"

Scroll down and click "Browse" under data source

Locate the content item you've already created

Open each folder until you end up at its location.

When you've found the item location, click on the content item itself, not the folder

Click "OK"
