WaveWorks: Navigating WaveWorks Learn as an Employee

This guide is essential for employees looking to effectively navigate WaveWorks Learn, ensuring they can easily access and manage their assigned training items. Accessing Your Assigned Learning Items

Navigate to [WaveWorks](https://waveworks.tulane.edu)

Click Learning

This is your Learn homepage. Your view will default to show learning items on your to do list. The tiles represent courses or specializations (groups of courses) that you have been assigned.

You can see your learning item status on each tile. This first status indicates that you have not started this training and it is overdue. You can see the due date below as well.

The two middle courses also haven't been started, but are not yet overdue. *All **required** courses will have an associated due date.*

The fourth course has also not been started, but it is not required; it has been assigned as **voluntary**. The date below shows an enrollment date rather than a due date.

You can change the filters for your learning items by clicking on the filters under the search bar. You can also search for specific training you have been assigned or completed using this search bar. *These features will be more helpful once you've enrolled in or been assigned numerous learning items.*

Click "Required" to only see pending required training

Click out of the filter window for it to refresh.

Now you can see only required training. Click again to adjust the filter again.

Click "Completed" to see only items you have already completed.

Click away to refresh

Now you see only the items you've completed.

Click "All" to view both completed and pending learning items.

You can also filter by completion & enrollment dates.

Click this dropdown to sort your courses.

Choose an option to sort by

Completing a Self-Paced Course

Click on the course.

Click "Launch" to begin taking the course.

Or, click the "Actions" button to view additional actions.

**View More Enrollment Details**: View enrollment dates, attachments, and course info. **View Learning Item Details**: View catalog information about the course. **Find Offering**: See if the course is offered on another date or in a different location. **Rate Learning**: Write a review for the learning item for others at Tulane to view *(note: this may not be available for all learning items)* **Comments**: Write a comment for others at Tulane to view or view comments left by other Tulanians *(note: this may not be available for all learning items)* **Report Issue**: Report an issue with the course to the learning administrator **Recommendation**: Share this learning item with a colleague who may find it beneficial.

Exploring Learning Content

There are two different ways to explore learning content: Browse & Search, both accessible in the menu on the bottom of the screen.

Click "Browse"

Here, you can find curated content that may be relevant to you. For example, here is a group of courses about Microsoft Office.

We've separated Microsoft Office into its different applications and found content for you to easily access.

If you're looking for something specific, click "Search"

Click the "Search for learning" field.

Search for a course title, topic, or keyword to find relevant learning items.

Click the course you're interested in.

You can find out more about the course, and/or enroll yourself in the course.

When you're ready to take the course, click launch.

Instructor-Led (Live) Courses

View & Print Your Transcript

Click "View Transcript"

Adjust your date range as necessary *The system will default to the past year to date.* Click Submit when ready

You can see a record of all completed courses within the selected timeframe, along with the date completed and the amount of time spent.

Click "Print" to print or save a pdf version.
