STN - Changing the Date for a Recurring Donation (Subscription)

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to change the date for a recurring donation in HubSpot. It includes detailed instructions on how to access the donor list, find the specific donor, edit the payment date, and have a notification email sent to the donor.

HubSpot

Go to your [Staff Dashboard](https://app.hubspot.com/reports-dashboard/43906074/view/11782727?dataSource=0-3&dataSourceName=DEAL&propertyName=hubspot_owner_id&propertyType=enumeration&operator=In&value=__hs__ME)

Scroll down to the bottom and under "My Donors" Click "Click here to view your full donor list"

Click the "Search name, phone, email addresses, or company" field and enter the name of the donor (or you can just review the list to find them. Note: The "My Donors" list filters out all contacts assigned to you.

Click on the donor's name when you find them.

Navigate to the right hand column of the person's contact record under the "Subscriptions" section. Find the recurring payment you need to edit and hover over it. Click "Preview" Note: "Recurring" Donations are listed as "Subscriptions" in HubSpot

Click "Actions"

Click "Edit next payment date"

Click the "New payment date" field.

Use the calendar to select the recurring date they would like to adjust to. You will pick a future date for the next payment's processing.

Click "Update"

A notification email will automatically be sent to the donor with the updated payment information.
