Why Verify Your Plan?

Once you are satisfied with the courses in your registration plan, select **Verify Plan**. The system reviews each course in your plan and alerts you to any issues that could prevent successful registration. Common issues include: - School, major, or minor restrictions - Closed sections - Schedule conflicts - Prerequisite or corequisite requirements - Department or instructor approval requirements Any warnings or errors are displayed within a highlighted message box next to the affected course. Review all messages carefully and contact the academic department offering the course if you need assistance resolving an issue.

Understanding Prerequisite Error Messages

Beginning with **Spring 2026** registration, course prerequisites are strictly enforced. Students may only register for courses when all prerequisites have been completed or are currently in progress. To avoid registration issues: - Verify your registration plan during the advising period. - Review the prerequisites for all planned courses. - Contact the department offering the course if you believe an override is needed or if prior coursework satisfies the prerequisite requirement.

Viewing Prerequisite Errors

If a prerequisite requirement is not met, EagleApps displays an error message identifying the issue. **NOTE:** Select the red triangle next to the course to view the full error message. Prerequisite-related messages may appear in multiple places within EagleApps.
