Adding an Internal Item to the Item Catalog
\*This functionality requires the Central Supply license. **What Am I Doing?** Adding an Internal Item to the Item Catalog is the first step to making items available to request from your Central Supply in your Organization. This document will cover adding Internal Items to the Item Catalog, and setting the Ordering Type and the Consumption Type.
1
All Internal Items have to be added in the Items Catalog in order to be put on a requisition. Click on "Admin" then click "Items Catalog".
2
Click "Edit Item" of the Vendor Item you are creating an Internal Item for.
3
After Vendor Item's Items Details open, toggle the "Internal Vendor" to ON.
4
Click on the "Internal Vendor" tab to start populating Internal Item's information.
5
Enter Hybrent ID. This must be the same as the Vendor Item's Hybrent ID. Typically it is one-to-one match between Vendor Item and Internal Item, therefore, Hybrent ID is the same.
6
Add Internal Item's Description. Typically it is the same as the Vendor Item's Description.
7
Choose Piece as the Consumption Type.
8
There are also other Consumption Types such as, Length, Weight, Liquid, Drops, and Sprays. The most common Consumption Type is Piece.

14
Leave Price Calculation as Exact Price, unless your Organization requires a different Price Calculation for Internal Items. Choose "None" for Price Mark Up as it is the most common set up. If your Organization does have a Price Mark Up, enter the percentage in the Price Mark Up Value field.
15
There are other Price Mark Up options such as None, Percentage, or Flat. The most Price Mark Up is None.
16
