Click the "Medicare" button as shown.

Enter your zip code and verify your county. Click "Save"

Verify your desired effective date. Click "Get Started"

Verify your zip code and county are entered correctly. Click "Continue"

Your pharmacy may not populate within 5 miles of your zip code. We recommend extending it out to 25 miles by selecting it in the drop down menu in the "Radius" section.

Click the "Start by typing your pharmacy name" field and type in the name of your pharmacy. For example, "Realo" or "CVS". Do not type in the address just yet.

Now select your pharmacy from the list. Be sure to match the address to ensure that your specific pharmacy is in network with the plans you are considering.

Click "Add and Continue"

Click "Continue"

At this step, you can type in your doctors following the same process you used to locate your pharmacy. If you are unable to find your doctor or if you would like to save some time, simply click the "skip" button as shown below.

Once again, following the same steps as we did in the Pharmacy section, enter the prescriptions that you take. We value and protect your privacy, so this information will NOT be shared elsewhere. Not every Medicare plan covers all drugs, so it is important to ensure that yours are covered with any plan that you select. Click the "Start by typing prescription name" field.

Click the "Start by typing prescription name" field. Then type in the name of your prescription. It may help to have the bottle in front of you because some of the names are long and confusing.

Once you find your drug on the list, click it so it's highlighted and then click the "Add and Continue" button.

Verify the dosage and frequency. Click the drop down arrows to make any changes, if necessary. Once it is verified, click "Add Prescription"

IMPORTANT: If you have any other prescriptions, click the "Add Another Prescription button that the arrows are pointing to. Repeat the previous steps until all of your prescriptions are listed. I know it may be tedious, but it is important to ensure you are enrolling in the best plan for your specific needs. After your list is complete, then and only then can you click the "Continue" button.

Click the bubble to indicate whether or not you are are receiving NC Medicaid Benefits. It is important to be honest. The plans you qualify for will be different depending on your Medicaid status. After selecting your answer, click "Continue"

Complete the four fields below by entering your name, email and desired password. Make sure to use an email address that you have access to because you will have to verify your email address in the next step.

Click "Create Profile"

You should receive an email asking you to verify your profile with Medicare PlanEnroll. By verifying, it should take you to the following screen. This should be your next screen. To access your Medicare options, click the blue "Medicare Plan" card in the "Wallet section" as shown in the screenshot below.

Then click the "Find a Plan" button.

Click "Get Started" You may have to click continue several more times. All of the previous information from your profile should have saved.

You now have access to all of your plan options! This can be an intimidating screen because there are so many choices. If you are not on Medicaid, BlueCross and BlueShield options will likely be best. If you are on Medicaid, a D-SNP plan from Unitedhealthcare is the best place to start.

Once you have a plan picked out, click the "Enroll" button. Remember you have 30 days to change your plan if you don't like it.

Click "Enroll"

Ensure the name and address are correct, then enter your phone number. Click "Continue"

Complete the basic information on this page. You are almost done, I promise :)

After completing and verifying the information on this page, click the "Continue" button.

Enter your Medicare information on this page, click continue and you should be all set!
