This import process provides a streamlined way to set up your organization in the Connect4Learning Online Portal using data from your existing systems. By preparing CSV files for sites, groups, users, and children according to the specifications in this guide, your organizational structure and user data can be imported directly into the portal.
Using the import process reduces manual setup, helps maintain accurate relationships between records, and provides an efficient way to get larger organizations configured and ready to use the Connect4Learning Online Portal.
Note - Organization Admins may also set up their organization information manually by using the Admin Setup Guides in the Connect4Learning Resource Hub to create sites, set the school year, create classrooms, add users, and add children.
Prepare your organization’s data. Gather the information needed for your sites, student groups, users, and children.
Create the required CSV files. Utilize the templates linked below to format the data into the required import files and follow the field requirements outlined in the Import Specifications Guide.
Connect related records. Use consistent site, group, student, and user information so records can be linked correctly during the import. External IDs are recommended when available because they provide stable identifiers for matching records.
Review the files for accuracy. Confirm that required fields are complete, values use the accepted formats, and related records match across files.
Submit the CSV files for import. Once the files are complete, provide them for import into the application.
Reach out to [email protected] when your CSV files are ready.
A representative will reach out to send you a secure link to upload your spreadsheet files for import.
Upon receipt of the spreadsheet files, your organization will be set up within 2-3 business days. A representative will reach out once your import is complete.
