Create/Update Orders - Line and Summary Information

This guide ensures that users can navigate line and summary information with ease. It highlights key features like expanding tabs for comprehensive data access and viewing drop ship purchase order details effectively.

Access order via "Create/Update Order" - scroll down to view line information

First portion of line data. (order already keyed)

Note that Available quantity shows (scroll slightly right). IF the item is a product set (table), the QTY Avail will ALWAYS be 0.000.

Lines when adding a new order: 20 lines display ready for entry

Tip! When keying new order (especially by phone), hit enter after keying SKU + quantity. This does not SAVE the line, but will activate the line details (item description - scroll to right). By viewing item name, this can validate that the right item number was keyed.

After clicking plus sign, enter the number of rows to be added. Click OK.

To view all potential "tab" details without clicking the specific tab, click icon to expand.

After clicking expand, the information will all be accessible by scrolling left/right. To return to the non-expanded, the same "expand" icon will appear in the far left.

Review areas as indicated:

If a line is a drop ship (and order is off hold/drop ship issued), click on icon to view drop ship purchase order {Kaplan's order to our vendor}:

Drop ship panel will appear. Scroll up to view PO Number. Purchasing/automation will update the Comment field with tracking or other information as available.

Click M4 or magnifier to access mark for details. Enter information as appropriate to the text line area. Click plus sign on far right to add additional mark for's. SAVE. Pay attention to the K_MARK_FOR_NBR. Use this reference to add the mark for to the order line.

DMS information. DMS applies to ALL lines for ship to on the order (you do not need to enter separate information to each order line).

Verify Requested Ship Dates and Ship to address using the Requested Dates and the Ship to tab. ***Be wary*** - what is on the header may not be what is on the line.
