Creating 'One Off' Invoices

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create and send an invoice. You do have the option to enable Automatic invoice creation in Settings > Invoicing & Payments > 'Automatically Create invoices'. However, this shows how to do this process manually should you wish.

Generally in Squeegee, you'll be creating invoices directly from a job. However, there may be times where you need to create an 'ad hoc' invoice - this is an invoice not attached to a job, where you'll manually add the line items. Please note this is only available on the **Advanced** and above subscriptions.

Click into 'Invoices'.

Then click the pink three dots and 'Create Invoice'. Select the customer you would like to invoice. You can also create invoices directly from the customer by clicking into the customer > pink three dots > Create Invoice.

You can then 'Add an Item' and either enter the specific details or 'autofill from a service' (and even adjust the details after this has been autofilled). Then click 'Save'.

The notes will be autofilled with your default invoice notes, however you can add to them directly in this field.

Then click 'Create Invoice'.

You can then see the invoice in the invoice list and see any delivery statuses here also.
