My Work: What Workers See

In this tutorial, you will see the view of a user with only Worker permissions and what they are able to action.

My Work will only show work assigned specifically to you. Generally, for those with permissions higher than 'Worker', you'll likely use other planner views. Due to this, this is a tutorial for the My Work section, but designed specifically for Worker usage and access.

A worker will have access to these tabs in their sidebar: - Profile - You will be able to contact support through the ? icon - You can navigate to different sections in the app through the rocket icon - You will be able to see any alerts that are given access for - My Work (you will only be able to see work assigned to you) - Day Pilot - Training (takes directly to the training academy on the website) - About - Sync Now - Reload App

In the profile section you will be able to see: - The email associated with the account - Option to change password for this account - Setup Two Factor Authentication - The main account email - Add a signature - Adjust the landing page (device specific) - Set email password resets will be sent to - Option to sign out of other devices - Delete this account

On the 'My Work' tab you will have the option to change the view by clicking the top right three dots > 'Planner View Options'. You can then filter the list using the toggles.

To open the optimised drive for the my work tab, click the pink three dots > Optimised Drive, for this manual option you will be able to choose a start and end location.

Alternatively, you can use the Day Pilot tab which will put it in an optimised route automatically. You can then open your preset map provider by clicking the blue car icon and set a start location.

Back in the My Work section you will be able to click into the job and mark it as: - Done - Done & Paid\* - Skip \*These options will vary depending on the global account settings (mentioned in step 9).

If enabled, workers will be able to send a message to the customer using the customer's default notification method.

You will be able to see the customer name, but not click through to their records unless you have more user permissions.

If a note is added by a worker, it will appear as an alert for the account owner.

The owner will then be able to click through to the customer and see any changes that have been made.

Account owners will be able to set further worker permissions/restrictions by going to Settings > Jobs & Scheduling.
