Add a Schedule to a Round
Adding a schedule to a round will ensure that all jobs within the round occur on the same dates and have the same frequency interval.
1
Once you have added a round, or in any existing rounds, you can click into these to edit their frequency under the 'Round Frequency' option.
2
From here, you can edit the round frequency to add an overall schedule to the round.\ Click 'DONE' to save your changes.
3
Once you've set the schedule and clicked 'DONE', you will be prompted to confirm this option with the message below. Setting the schedule will overwrite the current schedule for all jobs within the round. Ensure to click 'SAVE' on the edit page after clicking 'OK' on this prompt.
4
You will also see the 'Suggested Dates' toggle, which if enabled, will suggest future round dates when replanning, skipping or adding jobs.
5
You should now see that the due date tag is the same for all jobs within the round.
Scheduling Jobs by Scheduled Rounds
6
If you want a job to be added directly to the round and therefore its overall set schedule, you can do so either when adding a new job, or by editing an existing job. In order to edit an existing job, click into the customer and use the three dots on the job to 'Edit Job'.
7
Then, click into the current schedule to modify it.
8
Via the 'Job Frequency' drop down menu, you'll see all scheduled rounds on your account. You can click any of these to add the job to the round and set the job schedule to that of the scheduled round.
9
Just underneath, you'll see the option to choose from projected future dates for this round, in case you want the job to join the round at a specific date other than the next one.
10
Now, if you view your Rounds list, you will see that all scheduled rounds have their set schedules displayed on the overview, as below.
Replanning Jobs Within Scheduled Rounds
11
You *can* replan individual jobs within a scheduled round. However, please note that this will only replan *that* particular appointment, and any future appointments for that job schedule will revert back to the overall round schedule, so you may see that your appointments are closer together over time if they are replanned.
The 'Replan Always Updates Schedule' setting is **not** compatible with Scheduled Rounds. This is because the overall round schedule always takes precedence. If replanning individual jobs within scheduled rounds, the future schedule will not update, and future appointments will always refer to the round schedule first.
12
If you want to replan the **whole** round, your best option is to click the top right three dots on the round > Edit > Scheduling > Edit, to adjust the starting date on the round schedule. This will ensure that all jobs are pushed to the desired date, and that the frequency interval is retained.
13
If your jobs have fallen off schedule, you can reset them to the schedule by using the top right to action 'Reset jobs to schedule'.
14
To remove the schedule from a round, simply click the 'REMOVE' option in Round > Edit > Scheduling.
Please note that 'Shift Schedule' for **specific workers** is **not** compatible with Scheduled Rounds, so if you do have Scheduled Rounds on your account, you will only be able to shift the **entire** schedule if performing this action.
