Set Your Portal Details Using the Setup Wizard
1
Click 'Portal Directory'. This is where you will set up your business details for the portal, adjust the layout, and view any insights.
2
If this is your first time using the Portal Directory, you will likely want to head straight to Settings > Other > Setup Wizard. This will help you set up your initial details.
3
First on the list is to tick the 'I agree' checkbox, to accept the Portal T&Cs.
4
Then, you will need to set your Portal URL. This is the website URL that will be used to access your published portal. The beginning of the URL is already pre-filled in for you - you just need to add the appropriate URL ending. This can just be your business name.
5
Once chosen, click 'NEXT'.
6
Next up is your listing information. Here, you can quickly add: - Logo - Cover image - Business name (required) - Business description (required)
7
To upload your logo or cover image, simply click on the options, and then use the bottom right three dots to either 'Upload from Existing' attachments, or 'Upload File' to upload a new attachment file.
8
Then, add your business name and description as you want it to appear on the Customer Portal.
9
You will then see the option to add the below details. You can then also select/deselect the checkboxes to show or hide them on the Customer Portal.
10
Once completed, click 'NEXT'.
11
Finally, review your details, and if happy, confirm by clicking 'PUBLISH'.
Portal Directory: Settings
12
If you head back to Portal Directory > Settings, you can ensure all details are correct, and edit them if not.

For more options on personalising your portal, you can click 'Edit Theme' and choose the desired colours for each section accordingly.

Enabling Widgets & Creating Your Layout
19
Click 'Layouts' to adjust or enable any widgets shown on your Portal.
20
Before anything, you will need to enable your 'Sign In' widget, to ensure that customers can sign in. To do this, click the settings cog icon, and expand the 'View As' drop down menu to select 'None (signed out)'. Then click 'CLOSE'.
21
You are now viewing the Portal in a signed out state. Click on the 'Sign In' box to enable this widget.
22
Click 'Save & Publish' to save these changes.
23
Now, we will create the signed in view layout. To do this, click the settings cog icon again, but this time, choose **any** customer from the 'View As' drop down menu. It does not matter which customer you choose, as this layout will be applied to all logins.
24
Now, you can enable your desired widgets. To do so, simply click on the boxes to have them appear in your layout. You can choose from: - Appointment History - All Quotes - Automatic Payments - Book Appointment - Sign Out (should be enabled) - Financial History - Upcoming Appointments - My Ratings - Stripe Pre Pay - Todays Appointment - Welcome Card - Chat - Profile - Quote

You can click and hold on the widgets to drag and drop them into your desired position.
26
You can also drag from the bottom right of the widgets to adjust the size of them.
27
Once you are happy with your layout, click 'SAVE & PUBLISH'.
28
If you hover over the widgets, you should see a settings cog icon - this will allow you to adjust the settings specific to that setting. For example, with the 'Upcoming Appointments' widget, you can choose how may upcoming appointments per job the customer can see.
29
Alternatively, if you head to Settings > Widget Settings, you will be able to adjust these together. Simply expand the drop down for each widget to see the settings that can be adjusted for it.

33
Alternatively, if you click into the customer you want to invite, and then into their Messages tab, you can compose a message to them using the pencil icon, and finally invite them using the \[inviteLink\] token. 34
Finally, click 'Preview' to preview what the message will look like and then 'Send' to send it.
