Bookmarks, Notes, and Highlighting in Aspen Learning Library

The Aspen Learning Library reader gives you three powerful personalization tools. This guide shows you exactly how to create and save bookmarks, notes, and highlighted sections of your content.

Make sure you are logged into Aspen Learning Library with your personal account credentials, otherwise you will not be able to use these tools.

Creating Bookmarks

1. Navigate to the page you want to bookmark 2. Click the **Bookmark** icon in the reader toolbar, and the page will be saved to your bookmarks list

Viewing Bookmarks

1. To view and manage your bookmarks, select the **Table of Contents** icon, and click on the **Bookmarks** tab 2. All your bookmarks for this book are listed here, and you can: - Click on a bookmark to jump to the relevant passage - Use **Search** or **Sort** to find and organize your bookmarks - Click the **Delete** icon to remove a bookmark - Export your bookmarks by clicking **Export Bookmarks** in the bottom right of the panel

Creating Notes

1. Select the text you want to annotate, and select **Note** from the toolbar that appears 2. Type your note in the text field, and click **Save** to attach the note to that passage

Viewing Notes

1. To view and manage your notes, select the **Table of Contents** icon 2. Click on the **Notes** tab 3. All your notes for this book are listed here, and you can: - Click on a note to jump to the relevant passage - Use **Search** or **Sort** to find and organize your notes - Click the **Delete** icon to remove a note - Export your notes by clicking **Export Notes** in the bottom right of the panel

Creating Highlights

1. Select the text you want to highlight, and select **Highlight** from the toolbar that appears 2. Choose a color from the options provided 3. The text will be highlighted and saved automatically

Viewing Highlights

1. To view and manage your highlights, select the **Table of Contents** icon 2. Click on the **Highlights** tab 3. All your highlights for this book are listed here, and you can: - Click on any highlight to jump to that passage - Use **Search** or **Sort** to find and organize your highlights - Click the **Delete** icon to remove a highlight - Export your highlights by clicking **Export Highlights** in the bottom right of the panel

**Tip**: *Your bookmarks, notes, and highlights are also visible in **My Dashboard**, where you can review them across all your books in one place*
