Tread-Horizon

Navigate to [https://app.tread-horizon.com/](https://app.tread-horizon.com/dispatch?view=orders&tab=active)

Click on the "Dispatch" tab

Click "New Order"

Select the Customer Account for this Order

Select the associated project (if applicable)

OPTIONAL: Select the phase and code if needed. Phase must have been created when you first add a project

OPTIONAL: Set and Order Name & Dispatch number

Set your Order details such as the Service Class (Excess Soils, etc. ), Order Quantity, unit of measure and your date and time for the order\ Order Start Date & Time:\ Select "Same as job start" to have the order and when the trucks are meant to start be the same

If you have restrictions on site or want to stagger your units, enter the number of minutes you would like to stagger the trucks by

Select Pick Up & Drop off Sits for the Order. If this is a new location, click "Create New Site"\ Use the + sign to add a site as a default site

Enter in relevant notes in the Notes section\ **Project:** Notes will appear on all orders related to the project (internal)\ **Order:** Notes will appear on this particular order (Visible to Vendors)\ **Job:** Notes will appear on mobile application and visible to Driver\ **Internal:** Internal facing notes only

OPTIONAL: You can now add rates using the Rate Cards previously set or add them manually every time to create a new order

In the Trucks section, based on the details provided, the platform will provide some estimates which you can overwrite\ Running, will state the jobs created are Standing Haul or All day, or will require as many loads as the driver is able to provide\ If the Running checkbox is not selected, the driver will only be able to complete as many loads as provided in the Loads per truck field

Enter in the Assigned Foreman or Supervisor for the order, as this will help drivers learn more about te dispatch and have a contact person to interact with\ You can also add additional external vendors and other site supervisors

Other Items, can be used to include maps of dispatch specific information you want to make available for drivers

Requester, will help you filter and organize dispatches according to who originally requested the dispatch like a Foreman or Supervisor

Click on "Submit" to complete creating your order

To edit an order, use the Pencil icon\ This will open the Edit order dialog to make any necessary changes to sites, material, Qty, etc

A quick way to make often used edits is the **Edit Trucks** button\ This will help you change the number of trucks in an order, loads or quantity
