How to submit a 2026-2027 Room Selection Application

Have your Duo Authentication ready

Click "NCSTATE - Student SSO Login"

Select the "2026/2027 Room Selection" option

Click "Apply" for the 2026-2027 RH Academic Year option

Fill out the required information on the following page, then click "Save & Continue"

Click the "Roommate Search - Check the box below if you wish to be part of the roommate search process." box if you would like to participate in the roommate groups/search process after you submit your application

You will not see the roommate groups page until after you get to the end of your housing application and submit it

Click the "Are you interested in applying to be in a Living Learning Village? Check box if yes and the LLV application pages will display." box if you are interested in applying for a Living Learning Village

Click "Save & Continue" when you are done with this page

If you indicated that you would like to apply for a Living Learning Village, then your application will take you through the LLV process when you click "Save & Continue". You can use the following pages to indicate your LLV preference and fill out the supplemental LLV information accordingly

When you are done with your LLV information, or if you did not choose to apply for an LLV, you will proceed to the "Housing Agreement" page

Review the Housing Agreement and Cancellation Policy available on this page

Enter your Student ID number in the "Student ID Number" field to agree to the terms of the Housing Agreement

Click "Save & Continue"

At this point, your application has been submitted and is complete. The following steps are for the Roommate Groups process. Your Roommate Group can be edited up until you select a room in February

Use the "Roommate Groups" page to create a group, join a group, or search for potential Roommates and Roommate Groups

If you create your own group, you will need to name the group and create a password. You will also set the group size limit

You can view suggested roommates or use other criteria to search for potential roommates

You can add roommates to a group you have created

Click "Manage Group" to view and edit your Roommate Group

Click "Save & Continue" when you are finished

At this point, your application has been submitted and is complete. You can view the status of your application and other information on this "Application Status" page.

Please note, there will not be a check that appears in the circle under "Application Status" since there is nothing to complete on this page
