EPP User Guide: How to Submit Batch PDU Claims

This process is only for PDU Courses, not Specialty Courses. For students to claim PDUs for a Specialty course, they will need to self-claim. As a reminder: Any students without a certification will not be able to claim PDUs. Students looking to certify will indicate their PDU's as Contact Hours on their application.

Batch Uploading PDU Claims

Log into [epp.pmi.org](https://epp.pmi.org)

Click the three dots in the Action column for the approved PDU course you are submitting PDU claims for.

Download the updated template via the link on **Step 1** under the **Good News** banner

Fill out the template with the students' PMI IDs, first and last names, and course dates

**Tip:** The PMI ID refers to the [pmi.org](http://pmi.org) account number, *not* the certification number. Entering the wrong number will result in the record being rejected. The PMI account number can be found my logging into [pmi.org](https://pmi.org) and navigating to Dashboard.

Once your template is complete, upload it or drag and drop.

This will show your upload status

The system will validate all information in real-time. If there are errors or discrepancies, they will show and the Status column will indicate the exact discrepancy.

Conversely, any valid lines will show **Valid** in the status column

You can make corrections in real-time. For this example, the date was updated and corrected to match the date of the course.

Once the correction is made, click **Re-validate**.

Once the corrected line is re-validated, it will then move to **Valid** status, sorted by PMI ID.

The status **“This user does not have a certification for which these PDUs would be applicable”** indicates that the individual is **not currently certified** and therefore **cannot claim PDUs** at this time. If the learner is pursuing a certification, the course hours should instead be claimed as **education hours** as part of the certification **application** process. PDUs can only be claimed by individuals who already hold an active, applicable PMI certification. In this situation, the recommended action is to **remove the learner from this PDU submission** by selecting the **trash can icon** in the *Remove* column.

When **Submit** is selected and any conflicts still exist, a banner will indicate which users did not get submitted. For all valid lines, a banner will indicate a successful submission. NOTE: Please take note of the invalid records, as they will be removed when you close this slider or upload a new file.

Viewing PDU Codes

To view the PDU codes for a particular course, click on **View Codes** link in the **PDU Claim Code** column \ The PDU course details — including the title, Talent Triangle category, and PDU claim code — will appear on the right side of the screen.

To **exclusively** view your **PDU courses**, either filter by Course Type on the top of the grid, or choose the **PDU** option between Certification and Submitted PDU Claims
