Education Provider Portal (EPP) User Guide

This guide walks you through the Education Provider Portal (EPP), including managing your course dashboard, creating individual Certification and PDU courses, and using Bulk Course Upload to create multiple PDU courses and sessions at one time.

Log into [pmi.org](https://pmi.org) and then navigate either to atp.pmi.org> courses, or directly to [epp.pmi.org](https://epp.pmi.org)

Clicking **Courses** will bring you to the Education Provider Portal for course upload. Either utilize the Quick Action links on your homepage to navigate to **Create & Manage Courses** or Click on **Courses** in the navigation

This is your courses dashboard where you can view & manage all of your courses and PDU claims. You can also download your course data.

Depending on your account type, you can create individual Certification or PDU courses, manage Events, or use **Bulk Course Upload** to create multiple PDU courses and sessions.

New Feature as of Sept 2026: Bulk Course Upload allows users to create up to 100 new PDU courses and sessions at once using a validated template, with support for multiple session types, event association, and pre-submission review. If you are associated with more than one ATP, use the upper left box to toggle the view.

Course Management

Click a column header to sort the data by that column. Use the tabs at the top to filter and view specific data. Use **Status** to filter results by their current status.

To find the PDU Claim Code for a course, click **View Codes** in the PDU Claim Code column. The course details will appear on the right side of the screen, including the PDU Talent Triangle breakdown and PDU Claim Code.

We are now displaying the number of Successful PDU Claims for each PDU Course. This includes claims uploaded in the EPP and Self-Reported by students.  Unsuccessful and duplicate claims are not included in the count.

Selecting the three dots in the Actions column gives the options to Upload PDU Claim, Edit Course, Add Sessions, Retire a Course, or Delete. **Options may not be available based on your course status**.

Choosing delete will prompt the user to confirm the deletion. **This action cannot be undone.**

If the course has PDU claims against it, the course will not be able to be deleted and this screen will show:

If any edits are made, you will need to **Re-submit for Review**

Creating Specialty/Certification Courses

Choose **Create Certification Course**

If you do not have any approved instructors, this notification will show and prompt you to associate/invite instructors to your ATP account,

The course listing templates you have qualified instructors for will appear here.

**If you do not have an instructor qualified to teach a certification, the template will not be available to you.**

Select the certification course template that corresponds to the course you are listing.

Review the email address listed under Course Review Contact, then enter your unique Course Identifier and Course Description. The Course Review Contact is automatically populated with the current user’s information. This email address will be used if any changes are required for the course listing. Enter a URL that links directly to the course listing on your website.

**Important: Make sure the course details are available on the first page of this URL. PMI Review includes checking this URL.**

Indicate the course's availability on [pmi.org](https://pmi.org) between Public and Private. \ Once all information is reviewed for accuracy, click **Save & Continue**

Choose when and how the course will be available. Options are **Virtual, In Person, and Hybrid.**

For all three options you will need to choose the session dates by selecting each day the session occurs on the calendar below.

The required number of hours per course is called out under the date picker.

Indicate the timing of your course

If you have sessions that are the same time each day, choose **Set Time for All Dates,** and then choose **Apply To All**

Select your timezone.

Click **Select Instructor**. Search by entering the instructor’s name, or select an instructor from the dropdown list.

If you are scheduling an instructor in the EPP, they must already have an Instructor Kit assigned to their PMI account.

Select the language. You may type in the language, or click to choose from a dropdown menu.

If you need to add additional instances, click **+ Add Session**

If the hours listed for the session are under the requirement, this alert will show.

If you need to remove one of the sessions, click the x on the right hand side of the instance.

If the session is in-person, you will need to indicate the location. You may type in your location, or click to choose from a drop down.

Manage Locations

Click **Manage Locations** to view your saved locations or add a new one. The **Locations** panel will open on the right side of the screen. Select **Edit** or **Remove** for an existing location, or scroll down and select **Add Location** to create a new one. Once you have reviewed all information for accuracy, click **Save & Continue**.

Read through the details at the top of the **Review & Submit** screen. \ Review through your submitted details, choosing **Edit** if there are any changes to be made. \ Once all information has been reviewed for accuracy, click **Submit for Review**

A notification will appear in the upper right hand side, signifying the course was submitted successfully.

The recently submitted course will show a status as **Submitted.**

At any time, you can choose the three dots in the action column for any singular course and choose between **Edit Course**, **Add Sessions**, or **Delete**. **Options may not be available based on your course status.**

Changes Requested Status

Select **Changes Requested** in the Status filter

Click on the title of the course that changes are requested. Click **Edit** The ATP Team’s comment will appear at the top of the section that requires editing. You can respond by typing your comment in the box below. Click **Save & Continue** after you’ve completed all edits and added any necessary comments.

After all changes are made, you must **Re-submit for Review**

Creating PDU Courses

Click **Create PDU**

This screen provides additional information regarding PDU Course requirements. Click either **Go Back** to return to the previous screen or **Create Course** to move forward.

At the top of your screen is your course creation timeline (showing steps 1-6), and the course review contact is auto-filled with the user's information. **This is the email address we will contact if any required changes are identified for this course listing.**

Next, input the **Course Title, Course Identifier** (*This is your unique ID for this course. Enter your internal tracking number or code. Do not include special characters*.), **Course Description,** and **Website URL.**

**Note**: Please ensure the Website URL is a direct link to the course page on your website.

Choose between **Public** and **Private** for the course's desired availability. Public courses are available for anyone to view at <https://ccrs.pmi.org/search>.

Once all details are reviewed for accuracy, click **Save & Continue.** If you need to return to the previous screen, choose **Go Back**.

**Key Topics** The following key skills and knowledge areas top the list of in-demand project management skills and knowledge as identified by PMI and PwC Global Survey on Transformation and Project Management. Indicate which of those top 5 skills this PDU course addresses by selecting at least one from each list, but select all that apply.

Choose what other current **highly desirable or market-driven project skills** this course or learning experience addresses. Select at least one. Select all that apply.

If **Other Topics** is chosen, you will need to provide a reference, source or reason in the text box below.

Once you have reviewed all information for accuracy, choose **Save & Continue**

List the **Learning Objectives** for this course.

Name and briefly describe the **qualification of the primary author(s)** of this course or learning experience.

Tell us about any assessments in this course or learning experience. Choices include **This course or learning experience does not contain assessments** and **The course contains assessments aligned to the listed learning objectives.**

If the course contains assessments, you will be prompted to enter a description of the course assessment.

Once all information is reviewed for accuracy, read the **Additional notes on Course Content Quality** and click **Save & Continue**

Next, you will select the topics from this course that apply to each of the PMI Talent Triangle areas. **Only select from Categories that your PDU Allocations apply to.** Select all that apply.

Click the down arrow to see options for each area.

Enter the total hours of instruction of the course. May be allocated in increments of .25 (15 minutes intervals). **Total Course Hours are required and must be 0.25 or greater.** **Must be less than 60 hours.**

The number inputted for course hours is automatically split into thirds.

Adjust the number of PDUs assigned by either moving the circles on the range, or by inputting a new number in the text box. **Remember, the PDU Allocations should match the categories you selected above.**

**Certification Alignment** gives the opportunity to input how many hours of instruction from this course would be applicable to each certification type.

Please read through the Additional notes on PMI Strategic Alignment. Click **Save & Continue** to move to the next step.

Choose how and when the course is available. Options are **On-Demand, Virtual, and In-person. Select all that apply.**

If **On-Demand** is chosen, indicate the language.

If **Virtual** is chosen, indicate the start and end dates, as well as the language. Use the **+ Add Another Session** link to add another date range, if applicable.

If **In Person** is selected, input the Start and End Dates, as well as the Location & Language. Use the **+ Add Another Session** link to add another date range, if applicable.

If you click on the **Select Location** drop down and see that no results or the result you are looking for are not found, click **Manage Locations**

A form will appear at the right hand side of the screen which will prompt you for Location information.

Input all of the location details, review for accuracy, and click **Add Location**.

Once the location is selected, and all information is reviewed for accuracy, click **Save & Continue**.

Please read the details at the top of the **Review & Submit** screen before continuing on.

At the top right of each section is an Edit link in the case any information needs to be changed upon review.

The Overview reiterates: the course review contact email, your internal course identifier, course description, PDU claim code, course URL, and whether the course is public or private.

Review the **Key Topics** selections for accuracy.

Review inputted learning objectives, author qualifications, and assessment information

Review choices made and submitted for PMI Alignment, the Talent Triangle areas, PDU Distribution, and any applicable hours for certifications.

Review information inputted regarding session management, dates, and locations (if applicable).

PDUs cannot be claimed until the course and session(s) have been approved.

As prompted, review the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. Indicate via checkbox that the review has been completed.

Click **Submit for Review** once you are satisfied with the accuracy of the course information.

Once the course is submitted successfully, there will be a notification in the upper right hand side of the page.

The status of the PDU Course will show as **Submitted.**
