Log into [https://github.com/](https://www.google.com/)

Once logged in, click on your profile image

Click "Settings"

Click "Developer settings"

Click on the "Personal access tokens" dropdown

Click "Tokens (classic)"

Click "Generate new token"

Click "Generate new token (classic) - For general use"

Type a name for the token in the "Note" field (e.g. "autocon3-wsd2")

Click the "repo" checkbox to grant your token full control of private repositories

Click "Generate token"

Make sure to copy/save the token as you won't be able to see it again!
