Events: View Setup—New Cases Assigned

This guide provides a step-by-step process for setting up a new case view on the EpiTrax Events page, ensuring users can efficiently manage and track new cases for public health investigation. Navigate to [https://epitrax.kdhe.ks.gov/](https://train.kdhe.ks.gov/nedss/)

After signing in, click "**EVENTS"** in the top right.

Enter "**New Cases"** in the *New view name* field.

Select the drop down arrow under *Event investigation status*.\ Select "**Assigned to LHD"**\ Select "**Accepted by LHD"**\ Select "**Assigned to investigator"**

Click "**X"** to close the window.

Select the drop down arrow under *Investigation agency*.

In this training example, select "**KDHE VectorNet**"\ Click "**X"** to close the window.

Click "**Save"** to finish.
