Initiating the Employee Document Return Process

This guide demonstrates how to locate specific employee files using advanced search filters and initiate the document return business process. Follow these steps to efficiently manage and route personnel records through the payroll and document return queues.

Search Employee Records

Click "Advanced Search"

Click "Customize Search"

Click "Field"

Click "User"

Click "Customize Search"

Click "Employee ID" and type in the Employee ID

Scroll to the User search criteria. Search for your sso username (You need to include EMPLOYEES\\ )

Click "Search"

If the result comes back empty, this means that you did not create the document. This means that a supervisor will need to approve this document transfer. Close out of the 'User' section by clicking the 'x' button in the light blue header. Try to search again (you can filter down to the exact document you need using the fields)

Start Document Return

Before you initiate the transfer, if you have more than 3 documents that need to be moved AND they have all not been created by you, please send [twolf@conroeisd.net](mailto:twolf@conroeisd.net) an email with the document Entry ID's you need to be transfered.

Right-click on the Employee Record you need to return.

Click "Start Business Process..."

Click the Star next to "EMP-Document Return"

Click "Start"

Click "Close"

In the future, Repeat the "Search Employee Records" steps, and then right click the document

If you hover over the "Start Business Process", you should now see EMP-Document Return as a default option.

Verify Returned Document

Click "Folder Pane"

Expand Employee Records.

Expand zzWork Queue.

Expand your departments folder.

Open zzDocument Return.

Select the employee document record. Right click to "cut" the document and you can paste it into your personal folder.
