How To Install THIS (Tillex Hardware Integration Service)

This guide shows how to install the Tillex Hardware Integration Service (THIS) needed to synchronise in real-time, a DIGI SM6000 label-printing scales or CAS PDN 15KG live-weight reading scales with your Tillex EPOS system.

In the Tillex Partner Center, select Administrator.

Click "EPOS Configuration".

Click "Scales".

Click the + button to add a scale.

Set the **Manufacturer** as "**DIGI**" to reveal a paragraph saying one of three things; THIS is not installed, installed or an old version. See next step...

Click "OK".

Tip! Allow TILLEX access when a pop up appears with your store name in the browser.

Alert! If you have accidentally clicked Block: 1. Go to **Settings** in **Chrome** 2. Click **Privacy and Security** 3. Click on **Site Settings** 4. Click on your Tillex **URL** 5. Scroll down to **Apps on device** - set it to **Allow**

For those that did not click block - please continue... Notice **THIS** has downloaded to your device. Click on it to start.

Click "More Info" on "Windows protected your PC".

Click "Run anyway" on "Windows protected your PC".

Click "Next" on "Welcome"

Click "Next" on "Select Installation Folder".

Click "Next" on "Confirm installation".

Click "Yes" on "Allow".

Click "Close" on "Installation Complete".

Alert! **NOW TURN YOUR PC OFF... PAUSE AND TURN IT ON AGAIN.**

In the Windows search bar type "Services".

Scroll down to find The Tillex Hardware Integration Service. - Check it's "Running" (right click and select START)

Tip! Check you have an up-to-date version of THIS by going to the EPOS and clicking on the relevant icon (bottom rhs).
