Assigning Writing Practice by Using Level Learning's Prompts

Under Instructional Resources, click on "Writing Resources"

Under "Prompts" go to the "Level Learning" tab. Use the filter value under "Text Type" and "Level" to select the type of writing prompt and appropriate level that you are looking for.

Use the filter value under "Prompt Label" to look for an specific theme you are currently teaching. Notice how some prompts target multiple objectives, select one that matches the objectives you would like your students to work on for the assignment.

Review the prompt by clicking on it.

You could also "Make A Copy" if you want to edit the existing prompt before assigning it.

Click on "Add To Assignment Bag" and then click on "Create Assignments"

"Skip" the reading assignment

Select the students you want to complete the task, and click "Bulk Assign"

Select the prompt you would like to assign and click "Submit"

Click "Next"

Review the Release and Due date, as well as the Student Response Type (Typed or Handwritten)

Click "Create Assignments"
