How to Schedule and Manage FisherLink Office Hours

Learn how to configure your recurring office hours in FisherLink and manage student appointment bookings. This guide covers everything from setting availability to confirming meetings and troubleshooting user scheduling.

Configure Office Hours

Click "Open navigation menu"

Select "Appointments" from the navigation menu

Click "Office Hours" to add a new schedule block

Change Title, and select dates and repeat options

Enter the start and end times for office hours

Select the office locations you want to make available to students

Modify the minimum and maximum appointment time amounts

Select the appointment types you want to make available

Click "Start/End Date"

Set "End Date" to "End of Term"

Select the upcoming term from the term dropdown to set an automatic end date

Click "Submit"

Notice that appointment times are unavailable for times when there's already a meeting on Outlook. STUDENTS WILL NEVER SEE YOUR CALENDAR DETAILS!

Schedule Appointment as User

Student view- this is how they will set an appointment

They will click "SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT" and then select an available meeting category

They will select a meeting type

After they select a date, they will see all of the available times and can select one

They can choose to change the meeting duration to whatever options you made available

They will select a meeting location

They can also choose to add details about what they'd like to discuss

Once they hit submit, you will receive a calendar invite in Outlook. Accepting the meeting puts the appointment on both Outlook and FisherLink, and no other student can take that slot.
