How To Create an ECS with Alibaba Cloud

If you are new to the Cloud Computing
ECS stands for "Elastic Compute Service" : is an IaaS service on Alibaba Cloud that offers scalable, high-performance, stable, and dependable compute capacity.

Click "Login / Register"

Click here. | اضغط على القائمة اعلى اليسار

Click | اختر "Elastic Computing"

Click | اختر "Create instance"

Click "Pay-as-you-go or Subscription (What you need)" | اختر طريقة الدفع المناسبة لك

Click "Random | or choose a specific zone" | اختر المنطقة اللي ترغب فيها او اختر على عشوائي

Click on Public Image then choose any Image which Alibaba provide e.g "Ubuntu" | من هنا تقدر تختار نسخة من نظام التشغيل المرغوب به

Select a version of selected Image | بعد اختيار النسخة تقدر تحدد النسخة من نظام التشغيل

Choose snapshot policy or create new one | اختر "صورة" من النظام او سوي وحده [(ECS)تفيد في حال عمل اكثر من بنفس النظام والعمليات المحفوظة بالنسخة الاساسية ]

Click "Next" to configure "network" |

Choose a " VPC and vSwitch" if none Create new VPC, vSwitches

Click "Next"

Click "on Logon Credentials and choose desired one"

I choose the password to easily access and have created my own password

You can keep "the random name which is assigned " or Choose new one.

Click the "Enter a hostname" field.

Click "Next" to grouping configuration (ops)

I have assigned default resource group - you can create one or do the same

Click "Next" to preview your new instance

Click this checkbox to agree ECS terms to be able to create your instance

Click "Create Instance"

Click "Console " to see you new ECS

Now its "up and ready to use!"
Whenever you are done with the ECS I recommend you to stop it (ECO stop free of charge)
