Open Slack and click on “Channels ” in the sidebar.
Choose "Create Channel" under Create.
Choose "Blank Channel" and click on Next
Choose the following:
Channel name: (ex. triton-alerts)
Visibility: Public or Private based on your preference
Click Create to finalize.
Once created, navigate to your new channel listed in Channels:
Click into the Channel “e.g. Triton Alert Channel” to open the Channel page.
Click on "Integrations" and choose "Send emails to this channel"
Copy the email address shown (e.g., <[email protected]>).
Log in to the IP Address of the Sensor.
Go to the Platform Integration > SMTP Settings.
Click "Enable".
Enter Your SMTP Settings (contact Triton support if you need help getting this):
Email Provider: Choose your provider (if listed), or enter settings manually:
For Gmail:
Host: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 587
Security: TLS
User: your full Gmail address
Password: use a Gmail app password (not your regular password)

For Outlook/Office365:
Host: smtp-mail.outlook.com
Port: 587
Security: TLS
User: your full Outlook/Office365 email
Password: use an Outlook app password

Sender: Usually the same as your "User" email.
Recipient: Enter the email address from Slack.
Press Save.
Press "Test" to verify functionality.
Navigate to Actions > Action Settings, then click "set" under email for the desired events (e.g., Vape, THC< Aggression, Tamper).
Click the Save All button.
Tip: use the bulk config function to add this feature to speed up deployment
