How To Sign In To For The First Time

Navigate to [laccd.edu](https://www.laccd.edu/)

Click "Login"

Click "SIS Portal"

Click the "User Account" field.

Enter Your Student ID either starting with 88 or 90

Click the "Password" field.

Enter a customized password made for you. It will be the following: the first character of your first name (capitalized) + the first character of your last name (capitalized) + the birth month spelled out (with first character capitalized) + day of your birthdate (two digit) + @ + LACCD + ! If I'm Ben Kenobi and I was born May 4th, my password will be B+K+May+04+@+LACCD+! or BKMay04@LACCD!

Click "Sign in"

You will be asked to update your password. Retype in your student ID and the password from the previous step where it says Old Password.

Make sure your password is 14 characters long and contains atleast 3 of the following: Uppercase letter, lowercase letters, numbers, or special characters. Ben Kenobi's new password would Satine4Life2025!
Tip: You should save your username and password in your LAUSD email! Search for your acceptance letter and save it there so you always know where to look!

Click on "Submit"

You will be taken back to the normal sign in page. Use your student ID and new password!

You will then be logged in!

Click on "Mail - Outlook"

Log in once again. You will also be asked to create dual authentication. Connect your phone number. Receive the code and use it to log in.

Once on the main screen, click on "Apps"

Then click on the "Outlook" icon

When you are logged in, click on the settings icon (the gear)

Then click on the "Forwarding" area

Enter your LAUSD email address and click confirm! Now all the mail sent to this account will be forwarded to your LAUSD email too!
