This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to access and enable various tools and accommodations, such as text to speech settings and dictionaries, in Mastery Connect.

Tools and Accommodations on a Tracker

Open your Tracker

Click "Tools and Accommodations"

Select all the tools you would like your students to have available during their assessments.

Scroll down to "Language and Speech Settings" then select "Enable for all students"

Make sure Text-to-speech is selected. You can also turn on the dictionaries here as well.

Click "Save"

Tools and Accommodations on an Assessment

Alert! You can only turn on text-to-speech and dictionary settings for the whole tracker and not individual assessments.

When assigning an assessment, you can click on any tools and accommodations that you want to turn on or off for that specific assessment.
