How to track Furnished Holiday Let (FHL) income in Hammock

Usehammock

Navigate to [https://secure.usehammock.com/transactions](https://secure.usehammock.com/transactions)

Transaction Selection

Find a NET payment FHL transaction and Click "Click to track"

Click "Split Transaction"

First Transaction

Select 'Income' and enter the Gross rent in the 'Amount' field

Click on 'Furnished Holiday Lettings' or search it in the 'search categories' box

Click "Select Property"

Select the FHL the transaction is to be tracked against

If you wish, you can track the start and end dates of the rental period, but this is optional.

Click "Save transaction"

Second Transaction

Click "Expense"

Enter the fees in the Amount field

Search for FHL in the Category field

Click "FHL Letting Agent Fees"

Click "Save transaction"

Completion

Your split transaction should now contain both Gross income and expenses (add more expense lines if not) and the tag should be green with 'Reconciled'. If so, click "Finish tracking"

Your FHL transaction should now show in your transactions as successfully split.
