Using the PaperCut Hive Mobile App

This guide demonstrates how to download and use the PaperCut Hive mobile app to view, edit, and release print jobs to your desired printer.

Downloading the App

Navigate to your [PaperCut Hive user portal](https://hive.papercut.com/user/set-up-my-devices) and click the "Get App" button in the "Set up my devices" tab.

Tap "Start setup".

Click the app store button appropriate for your mobile device (Apple or Android). For a faster log in, tap "Copy code" before downloading the app.

Logging in to the App

After launching the app, tap "Enter Linking Code" and paste the code from the previous step. Alternatively, tap "Login with email" to log in with your school Microsoft account or click "Scan QR code" and scan the code from step 2.

A confirmation page appears after successful login.

Optionally, enable notifications to be alerted when a print job is ready to print or about to expire.

Viewing/Editing Print Jobs

All jobs in your queue are listed on the app's main page. Tap "Print \[x\] Document" to print all documents in your queue. Alternatively, tap an individual document to view additional details and adjust print options before printing.

As a general rule, set the print options you want at your computer before sending your print job. Only the mobile app allows you to change print options after a job is in the queue.

When viewing an individual document, you can make changes to common settings such as number of copies, single-sided/double-sided, color mode, and staple before printing.

Releasing Print Jobs

Your job will print immediately after selecting the desired printer.

After tapping the "Print Document" button, you can release the job in one of three ways. 1. Select a printer from the list (printer names are descriptive of their location). 2. Scan the QR code on the front of the printer (**coming soon!**). 3. Enter the five-digit code on the front of the printer (**coming soon!**).

Select a printer from the "List" page to manually specify the printer to release your document. The job will print immediately.

Tap the "QR Code" button and scan the sticker on the front of the printer to release your document. The job will print immediately.

Tap the "Code" button and enter the five-digit code on the front of the printer to release your document. The job will print immediately.

Jobs print immediately after selecting a printer, scanning its QR code, or entering its give-digit code.
