Labor Distribution: Approve a Change

This guide outlines the steps neceessary for approving Labor Distribution Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAFs).

Navigating to Your Pending EPAF Approvals

EPAF administration can be found in Employee Banner Self-Service. Navigate to the dashboard via Connect Lehigh: <https://connect.lehigh.edu/>

In the Employee Self-Service tile, click "Employee Banner Self-Service Dashboard"

Click "Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAF)"

Click "EPAF Approver Summary" to see all EPAFs awaiting your review, as well as any you have already approved.

Reviewing Pending EPAFs for Approval

In the "Current" tab, double-click on the name of the person whose EPAF you need to review. This will take you to a page where the labor distribution change details are shown.

Once you review the document you will need to select one of the options at the bottom of the page: 1. **APPROVE** this will mark the EPAF as approved and send it to the next person in the approval queue. 2. **DISAPPROVE** this will cancel the EPAF entirely with no chance of correction for the initiator. 3. **RETURN FOR CORRECTION** this will return the EPAF back to the initiator allowing them the chance to make corrections and resubmit. Please also notice the "Add comment" button. If you wish to add a comment to the Labor distribution change please hit the button and follow instructions on step 7.

Adding Comments

Click the "Comments" field and add any comments you need.

After typing the comment you must click "Save".

Returning to Your EPAF Approval Overview

After clicking save to complete your approval, you can return the page showing your approvals by clicking the "EPAF Preview" link at the top of the page.
