To publish your app on Google Play, you will need to set up a Google Play Developer account.

Note: You will be required to pay a one-time enrollment fee of $25. Also, you will need to sign-up for a Google Play Developer account with a Gmail account and set up a 2-Step verification.

• Don’t have a Gmail account? You can create one for free here.

• In order to set up 2-Step verification, you can follow these steps.

Once the above is complete, you can proceed to set up your Google Play Developer account by following the steps below:

Step 1 - Sign-up for the Google Developer account by clicking on this link and sign in using your Gmail.

Step 2 - Confirm that you have signed in with the correct Gmail account you wish your Google Play Developer account to be associated with. Check the top left corner of the screen, under “Google Play Console”.

Step 3 - Click on enroll as an “Organization or Business”.

Step 4 - You will now be required to fill in all of your organization’s details.

Note:

• Your “Developer Name” is what will be displayed to customers as your app-listing under your app title in the Google Play store.

• You will also be required to verify all of your provided contact & account information.

Step 5 - The next step is to agree to the “Terms of Service”. Check the necessary fields after carefully reviewing them.

Step 6- After agreeing to the “Terms of Service” click “Create account and pay” in order to proceed to the payment process.

Step 7 - Enter your payment information and click on “Pay”.

Step 8 - Congratulations! Your Google Play Developer account has been successfully created.

Note: It may take Google up to 48 hours to publish your account based on when the payment has been processed.

Step 9 - You will now have to complete the process of verifying your identity:

• Upon opening Google Play Console, you will be asked to verify your identity.

• Clicking on the “Verify Identity” link will redirect you to a page where you will be required to enter your information again and upload a valid government document.

Note: The document being uploaded while verifying your identity must contain the same information as you have provided before while entering your details.

Final Step - You can now go on to add Plobal as an admin for your Google Play Developer account.
