Linkedin Creator Mode: what's that and should I use it?

Ever wonder why some people have a 'follow' button instead of the 'connect' button? That's Linkedin Creator mode (read more about it from Linkedin here).

Linkedin creator mode is a great option if you're looking to create content on Linkedin!

🌟TIP: you can turn this on at any time! If you want to get more CONNECTIONS, leave it off. If you want more FOLLOWERS or want to use the features of creator mode, turn it on!

Once you turn creator mode on, you get a special section on the top of your profile to feature posts.

This is prime real estate right at the top of your page that everyone coming to your profile will see.

You can put posts and links here that you want us to see! Here's how:

This one is brand new! LinkedIn rolled out a feature to add website links to profiles. If you have a personal website, make sure you put it there!

🌟 Add a career break to your profile

Linkedin launched the Career Break feature recently - because we're real people who experience real life events while we work - and they finally wanted to recognize that. Check out the post I wrote on the feature here.
