The purpose of this Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is to provide step-by-step instructions on how to pair a thermostat to the Mysa HQ platform. By following these instructions, users will be able to successfully connect their thermostat to the Mysa HQ platform and gain access to its features and functionalities.
Before attempting to pair a thermostat to the MysaHQ platform, please ensure that you have the following:
1. Download the Mysa HQ Installer App (Android or iOS).
iOS or Android Smart Phone or Tablet required.
2.A stable internet connection and both the WiFi Name and Password
3.The Mysa HQ installer code.
If needed, use the Zen Thermostat Installation Page to verify the correct configuration code.
Input the configuration code by pressing the CONF button on the back of the device ONCE.
Tap on the center of the screen until a number appears
Use the Up or Down arrows to move to the correct configuration code.
Tap the center again to confirm the configuration is set.
Navigate to the Mysa HQ Installer App on your mobile device or tablet.
Select Next to Continue
Enter the installation code provided by IT or Support.
Tap Next to Proceed
Tap on the "Add Thermostat" button to initiate the pairing process.
Or select ' Add Sensor' if adding sensors
Select Yes.
Enter the name of the the thermostat.
This should follow the naming convention supplied by support.
Naming Convention- Example:
If WiFi credentials are not automatically added, enter the Store WiFi credentials.
Important:
The thermostat requires a 2.4GHz Network
Network Name and Password are CASE SENSITIVE - Ensure this is entered exactly as it appears in your network settings.
Input the last 6 digits of the MAC Address
This is found on the back, left hand side of the device.
Sample MAC Address: 00:35:FF:25:C1:4C
Note: Colons are not required.
Remove the Thermostat from the base on the wall.
Tap the front of the thermostat in the middle to wake the device.
Tap Next
Press the NETWORK button 5 times, and listen for a audible confirmation.
Tap Next
Return the device to the base, and verify the WiFi icon is flashing.
Tap Next
Verify the Thermostat is on the base and connected to the magnets
Tap Next.
Select Join when prompted
If this is your first time pairing, ensure you select 'Allow Location While Using App'
Tap the thermostat face to wake the device, and allow it to fade out
Wait for firmware update to complete
Tap the front center of the thermostat to wake the unit, and allow it to return to blank.
Success Thermostat Connected!
If you encounter any issues during the pairing process, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:
1. Ensure that your smartphone, tablet, or computer has a stable internet connection and is connected to the store WiFi unless otherwise specified.
2. Double-check that the thermostat is properly installed and powered on.
3. Make sure the thermostat is connected to the base while pairing.
4. Restart the Mysa HQ process and try the pairing process again.
5. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please contact Mysa directly.
