File cleaning on INKR Studio can be done automatically within Editor.

INKR Studio can accurately detect and transcribe text inside comic bubbles. Once all the texts are successfully detected and transcribed, Cleaning Patches will be automatically added.

Patches are used to cover up transcriptions on a comic page, allowing for direct on-page translation and typesetting.

You can also manually create patches or edit and delete existing ones.

Alternatively, you can manually clean the image file by adding your existing clean image file or using the built-in image editor.

Create a New Patch

There are 2 ways to create a new Patch: using Polygon Selection, or Object Selection. Studio will create a patch based on the shape of your selection.
