Bank Account Reconciliation are usually created in one of the following ways:
Created from a Payment Reconciliation Journal When using the Post Only feature in the Payment Reconciliation Journal, a Bank Account Reconciliation Journal is generated — but only if the Payment Reconciliation Journal originated from a Bank Statement.
Reconciled Directly in the Payment Reconciliation JournalUsing the Post and Reconcile feature, the bank account reconciliation can be completed directly within the Payment Reconciliation Journal.
Direct Import to the Bank Account ReconciliationWhen the bank account is configured with BARJ = true, then imported bank feeds are created directly as Bank Account Reconciliation Journals.
Bank Account No.Specifies the number of the bank account that you want to reconcile with the bank's statement.
Bank Account NameSpecifies the name of the bank account that you want to reconcile
Statement No.Specifies the number of the bank account statement. (This is the internal statement number in Business Central, not the bank statement number provided by the bank.)
Bank Statement No. (AMC)Bank statement number provided by the bank.
Status (AMC)Shows the current state of the Bank Account Reconciliation Journal.
The status of the Bank Account Reconciliation Journal can be one of the following:
OpenNo lines are matched against Bank Account Ledger Entries.
Lines Not CompleteSome lines are missing information, such as the Transaction Date, Amount, or similar required fields. Normally only if lines are manually created.
Partly matchedSome lines still have an amount difference that remains unmatched.
Full Match – ImbalanceAll lines are matched against bank account ledger entries, but the total amount does not equal the End Balance minus Start Balance of the bank statement, the status will be set to Full Match – Imbalance.
Ready to PostAll lines are matched against bank account ledger entries and End Balance / Start Balance also match the expected amount.
Reconciliation FailedIf any errors are logged in the Auto BankReconcile Log (AMC) during the Auto Bank Account Reconciliation that are not related to posting, the status will be set to Reconciliation Failed.
Posting FailedIf any errors are logged in the Auto BankReconcile Log (AMC) during the Auto Bank Account Reconciliation that are related to posting, the status will be set to Posting Failed.
Statement DateSpecifies the date on the bank account statement.
Balance Last StatementSpecifies the ending balance shown on the last bank statement, which was used in the last posted bank reconciliation for this bank account.
Statement Ending BalanceSpecifies the ending balance shown on the bank's statement that you want to reconcile with the bank account.

AMC Banking 365 BC - Import bank feedMatching > Match Automatically (AMC)Automatically search for and match Bank Statement Lines with Bank Account Ledger Entries using Transaction ID and/or transaction date, including support for summed amounts when multiple ledger entries share the same Transaction ID. If no matches are identified through the Match Automatically (AMC), the system will subsequently execute the standard Business Central “Match Automatically” functionality.

DescriptionSpecifies a description for the transaction on the reconciliation line.
Statement amountSpecifies the amount of the transaction on the bank's statement shown on this reconciliation line.
Applied EntriesSpecifies whether the transaction on the bank's statement has been applied to one or more bank account or check ledger entries.
Applied AmountSpecifies the amount of the transaction on the reconciliation line that has been applied to a bank account or check ledger entry.
DifferenceSpecifies the difference between the amount in the Statement Amount field and the amount in the Applied Amount field.
Transaction IDSpecifies an unique ID of the imported bank transaction. This ID is used to link Bank Account Reconciliation together with the Bank Account Ledger Entries.
AppliedSpecifies if the bank account ledger entry has been applied to its related bank transaction.
Posting DateSpecifies the posting date for the entry.
Document TypeSpecifies the document type on the bank account entry. The document type will be Payment, Refund, or the field will be blank.
Document No.Specifies the document number on the bank account entry.
DescriptionSpecifies the description of the bank account entry.
AmountSpecifies the amount of the entry denominated in the applicable foreign currency.
Remaining AmountSpecifies the amount that remains to be applied to. The amount is denominated in the applicable foreign currency.
OpenSpecifies whether the amount on the bank account entry has been fully applied to, or if there is a remaining amount that must be applied to.
Check Ledger EntriesSpecifies the check ledger entries that are associated with the bank account ledger entry.
External Document No.Specifies a document number that refers to the customer's or vendor's numbering system.
Transaction ID (AMC)Specifies the ID of the imported bank transaction.This ID is used to link the Bank Account Ledger Entries with the Bank Account Reconciliation lines.
