Before you begin this demo please take note of the below details to help you along as you proceed through the demo.

Dell

This module introduces custom tags and custom reports. Custom tags allow us to add customer-specific metadata to objects within APEX AIOps Observability in order to help with things like grouping and filtering. Custom reporting allows us to create customer-specific reports which can be placed on a dashboard or scheduled to be sent via email to other interested parties.

This module introduces APEX AIOps Observability support for Dell VxRail Hyperconverged Infrastructure. We will review the multisystem views and system details pages showing Health, Inventory, and Capacity for VxRail systems.

This module provides an overview of the cybersecurity feature in APEX AIOps Observability. We will see how cybersecurity identifies security risks by comparing configurations to a set of security-related evaluation criteria, notifying users of any deviations from the configured plan. We'll also see how it identifies applicable Dell Security Advisories and how it can identify potential cybersecurity ransomware incidents in near real time.

This module focuses on monitoring the health of the systems within APEX AIOps Observability. It will demonstrate how APEX AIOps Observability allows us to quickly identify potential health issues from the Home Page using the Proactive Health Score feature.

This module will introduce functionality that allows a user to monitor and perform maintenance to their PowerEdge environment in APEX AIOps Observability. We will look at how APEX AIOps Observability provides PowerEdge information in the following categories: Health, Inventory, and Performance and then see how we can initiate system updates for PowerEdge servers.

This module shows us how APEX AIOps Observability helps identify potential performance issues in the storage environment. APEX AIOps Observability uses time-correlated analytics to identify performance impact scenarios including an increase in latency while IOPS and/or bandwidth decreases. It also utilizes machine learning to compare current performance metrics with historical values to determine if any of the current metrics deviate from historical and expected ranges.

This module walks through the latest VMware monitoring capabilities within APEX AIOps Observability. We will look at various details about a virtual machine, see how APEX AIOps Observability reports on configuration changes in the VMware or related storage environment, review key performance metrics for a VM and demonstrate how APEX AIOps Observability identifies performance anomalies and impacts on the VM.

This module will introduce us to APEX AIOps Observability and the Home page. We will see how the Home page not only provides high level summary information for potential issues, but additional detailed information allowing the user to potentially take action without the need to drill down further into the APEX AIOps Observability UI.

This module shows how we can access and analyze power consumption, energy usage, and carbon footprint emissions in APEX AIOps Observability. By following the steps, users can view total carbon emissions and energy usage for all systems, as well as historical trends and forecasts for individual systems. This information can be valuable for individuals or organizations looking to monitor and manage their environmental impact and meet sustainability goals.

This module shows us how APEX AIOps Observability provides detailed capacity information for traditional storage, PowerProtect DD systems and subscription based APEX Offerings. We'll also see what capacity means for Connectrix switches.

With AIOps, users can ask questions about Dell products and connected assets and receive AI-generated responses. In this lesson, you will learn how to inquire about specific tasks or configurations related to Dell products, request detailed information or summaries about connected assets, and review a history of previous chats and recommended actions.
