Welcome to the GenLogs Freight Intelligence platform! This solution is designed to help freight brokers like you source new shippers and ensure you have the carrier capacity to effectively serve your customers. Explore this guide to learn how to make the most of our platform and optimize your logistics operations.

Getting Started
Login:
Visit the GenLogs Freight Intelligence platform login page.
Enter your username and password provided to you in the onboarding email.
Click "Login" to access the platform.
Sourcing New Shippers
Searching for Shippers by Name
Search for Shipper by Name:
Enter Shipper Name: If you already know the name of the shipper you want to pursue, such as Coca-Cola, you can easily find all their facilities nationwide using the shipper name search capability.
View Facilities: The platform will display all the facilities associated with that shipper across the country.
Facility Details: Click on any facility to get additional information, including operational details and contact information.
Scroll and Explore: Use the scroll function to navigate through the list of facilities. Click on each facility to view more details.
Export Facilities: Click the "Export Facilities" button to download an Excel spreadsheet containing all the facilities. This export will include detailed information, such as phone numbers, allowing you to sort and filter the data as needed.
Contact Facilities: Use the sorted and filtered data from the export to begin calling and reaching out to the facilities directly, streamlining your outreach process.

Route Planning:
Set Origin and Destination:
Input your origin (e.g., Dallas) and destination (e.g., Denver) points to see all shippers operating on that lane.
For example, entering Dallas to Denver shows 687 shippers running this route.
Backhaul Options:
Click the "Reverse" button to view shippers running from your destination back to your origin.
This feature helps you find backhaul opportunities, displaying shippers running Denver to Dallas, for instance, with 431 identified shippers.
Analyzing Shipper Lanes:
Top Volume Lanes:
Click on shippers to see their top 20% volume inbound and outbound lanes.
View historical lanes indicated by light hexagons on the map.
Contacting Shippers:
Use the provided information to contact desired shippers.
Finding Backup Carriers:
Identifying Carriers:
If an agreement with a primary carrier falls through, click the blue "Go to Carrier" button.
View carriers that GenLogs has observed running your specified route.
Filtering Results:
Filter carriers by fleet size and equipment type (e.g., Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, etc.).
Customize filters to match your specific needs.
Utilizing the Asset Locator Tool
Search by USDOT Number:
Copy the carrier's USDOT number from the carrier card.
Access the Asset Locator:
Click the "Asset Locator" button in the top right corner.
Paste the USDOT number into the search field on the Asset Locator page.
Viewing Carrier Data:
See all times GenLogs sensors have detected the carrier on the roads.
Sourcing Carriers for a Lane
Carrier Recommendations:
Set Origin and Destination:
Input your origin (e.g., Dallas) and destination (e.g., Denver) points to see all carriers operating on that lane. Results are populated in order of carrier match score so you see the carriers most relevant to your specific needs to help you find the right carrier for your customer.
Viewing Recommended Carriers:
Click on a recommended carrier card to see an augmented view of derived lanes and data sources.
Switching Views:
Toggle between carrier and shipper views as needed.
Shipper Facilities:
In the shipper view, click the blue "Search Facilities" button to view all facilities for a shipper.
Analyze inbound and outbound lanes for these facilities.
Bulk Emailing Carriers:
Copy Email Addresses:
Click the "Copy all emails" button to copy email addresses of the resulting carriers.
Send Bulk Email:
Paste these into your email client to message all carriers at once about specific loads or lanes.
Upload Preferred Carrier Lists
Access the Preferred Carrier Lists section in your account.
Prepare your preferred carrier list using the Upload Carrier Template (CSV, Excel).
Navigate to the upload option within the Preferred Carrier Lists section.
Select the prepared carrier list file from your device.
Confirm the upload by clicking on the "Upload" button.
Wait for the system to process the upload and check for any errors.
If you receive an error, review the uploaded carrier list to ensure all data is formatted correctly.
Use the My Preferred Carriers filter to results to only your trusted carriers.
Preferred Carriers are highlighted with a yellow star.
