The HICAPS integration with MYP helps streamline the management of NDIS plan administration, claims, and provider payments by automating key processes. This guide outlines the steps required to complete your HICAPS onboarding and prepare for integration.
At the start of your implementation, if you have opted in for HICAPS, you will have received a HICAPS onboarding email from MYP. This email contains detailed instructions for setting up your HICAPS digital account.
Complete the two forms included in the email.
Follow the steps in the order listed to ensure the process runs smoothly.
After the forms are submitted, HICAPS will provide a series of additional tasks to complete.
Note: These steps must be completed in full before HICAPS can be used with MYP.
Important Note:
Begin the HICAPS onboarding process as soon as you receive the onboarding email from MYP. While HICAPS will guide you through the required steps, it’s important to complete them promptly. Any delays in completing these steps will postpone the API connection between PRODA and MYP.
Once you have submitted the forms, the onboarding process with HICAPS will proceed as follows:
HICAPS will fill out the details of the HICAPS declaration and send it to you for signing.
After you sign and return the declaration, HICAPS will send it to the DPO (Delegate Processing Officer) for approval to access the NDIS APIs.
Once approved, HICAPS will email you with instructions on how to activate your device.
After all onboarding steps have been completed and the required actions taken, HICAPS Disability Support will notify both you and the MYP implementation team that your account has been successfully created.
MYP Implementation Team will then contact you to schedule your HICAPS onboarding session.
Important: MYP cannot connect to HICAPS until we receive confirmation from the HICAPS team that your setup is complete.
