How to Create an NDIS Price Book

  • MypcorpMypcorp

Creating an NDIS price book in CRM involves setting up pricing structures that align with NDIS requirements, ensuring accurate billing and compliance. MYP maintains the NDIS price list and pushes out updates when they are released. Users are notified of these updates via a pop-up notification in the system.

Step 1: Navigate to the Customisation Menu

  • Select Customisation under CRM from the side navigation bar.

  • Navigate to Products & Prices.

Step 2: Create a New Price Book

  • Select Price Books.

  • Click on Create Price Book.

  • Enter a name for the price book, such as "NDIS Price Book".

  • Save the price book.

  • Ensure at least one product family has been created.

Step 3: Add Items from the NDIS Price List

The NDIS price list is preloaded into CRM and kept current with updates pushed out by MYP. However, any custom products required for your organisation must be created beforehand.

  • Navigate to the NDIS Price List.

  • Select:

    • Product Family: Choose the appropriate product family (e.g. 'NDIS').

      • Price Book: Choose the appropriate price book name (e.g. 'NDIS Price Book').

      • Year: Confirm the NDIS pricing year.

      • Region: Choose the applicable region (e.g. QLD).

  • Review the NDIS Code, NDIS Name, and Price Limit to confirm product requirements.

  • Select the relevant product/s.

  • Select 'Add Items'.

Step 4: Validate the Price Book

  • Review all entries to ensure alignment with NDIS guidelines.

  • Test the price book by generating sample invoices or schedules of support.

Best Practice

  • Regularly update price books to reflect changes in NDIS pricing.

  • Use the 'Exclude from NDIA Price Updates' option for custom rates.

  • Validate new entries to avoid billing errors
