Testing Center Required Settings

The guide below will help you set up your Canvas Classic Quiz with the required settings for the Testing Center.

LockDown Browser Required Settings

If you use Lockdown Browser for your exam, there are required settings for the Testing Center, which are reviewed below. Please ensure your exam is set up appropriately.

Off-Campus Exam Required Settings

If you are using our proctor vetting service and have off-campus/online students taking exams, please note the required settings changes below. If you are not using this service, you can disregard this section.

1) You MUST have TWO exams created if using the Testing Center for local students and our proctor vetting service for off-campus/online students.

2) The exams must be labeled "For Test Center" or "For Off-Campus Proctor." Clearly labeling the exam helps Testing Center staff with auditing exam settings and clarifies to the students which exam to select.

3) The "For Off-Campus Proctor" exam must have a password provided to access the exam. This password must match your RegisterBlast submission to the Testing Center exactly. IP filtering IS NOT used for off-campus exams.
