Options Features 3/3: The Base Triggers Dots.

This 3 series guide continues for options on the Spotlight.is work stage. Below shows and briefly explains the dot slide options and how the base triggers them, the essential ingredient for why Spotlight.is shows are what they are.

To view a slide, click one of the numbered dots. Hover over them to see the slide options.

      New Slides:

To create new Slides, play the Base audio first, and then click the Spotlight.is logo to the left. Do it immediately at the time you want the slide to appear. But don't worry if it's not on point, as you can re-slide it to place when the base is not playing.

You can also press command while the base plays to enter Slides with your keyboard. While it's playing you can be typing notes for that slide, so you don't have to keep playing the base to remember what to fill that slide with.

Menu Options for the Dot Slide.

Descriptions of icons from left to right, top to bottom:

Time dot triggers: This shows when the slide will trigger as the base, plays. So in the above photo, slide #5 will trigger when the base audio reaches 0:28.

      Layer Outline:

Click on the upper left-hand hamburger icon on the slide options to view the layers for the slide. This is where you want to be in case a layer disappears. You would then double click the layer element line and it should show up. In case it doesn't, then the layer id to find the tag is copied to your clipboard so that you can paste it into the inspectors top portion HTML to locate. Once you found in the browser's Inspector, edit the CSS directly in its Styles pane area.

Pin: This will play where the trigger time was last saved.

Clear: If you want all of the layers cleared, click here.

      Delete: To delete the slide.

Delete: Layers are not soft deleted. Currently if you delete the layer, and undo on your post, the layer will not show. lease confirm accordingly. (This is planned to change in a future release to restore the deleted layer).

Special Menu Option for the End Slide.

The end slide won't have the same options as above:

Don't Stop Base: If checked, if the End dot was moved somewhere to the left away from its default, the audio will continue to play to the end of the audio file even after the End dot has shown. If unchecked, the audio file will end when the last slide is shown.

This is the end of the 3 part guide on native options on your Spotlight.is work stage.
