Using Planon Live allows technicians to automatically create time card entries on the Timecard application in Planon.
As a tradesperson you are responsible for the accurate entry of hours on a time card so that work can be billed appropriately and should adhere to the following expectations:
Time must be entered weekly. All time for a week should be completed by EOD Friday, or the end of your work week.
Time must be submitted to your supervisor, shop lead, or other designated time card approver for approval and submission for billing. You are responsible for marking your hours as submitted in Planon time card by EOD Friday, or the end of your work week.
Time entered should be accurate. Total hours entered in Planon should match the total hours recorded in Kronos. For Example, if you are being paid for 20 hours of work time (no Leave or Benefit time) then you should record 20 hours of work in Planon time cards.
Time entered should be correct. After reviewing your time card your supervisor, shop lead, or other designated time card approver may send a time card entry back to you for modification or updates. This may include things like: entering the correct work order number, selecting a different pay type, or modifying the number of hours entered. You are responsible for making updates as needed to your time card and resubmitting it to your supervisor, shop lead, or other designated time card approver.
Communication should continue outside of Planon between the yourself and your supervisor, shop lead, or other designated time card approver when time cards are submitted or edited.

These guides will instruct users on how to navigate and use Planon via a web browser. Note that the recommended way to view and interact with Planon for technicians is via the Planon Live app on a mobile device. Additional user guides will be created for technicians using Planon on the computer as work processes are developed.
