How to duplicate and use a Page template

  • Project Name.

  • Project Manager.

  • Date.

Overview

Provide a high-level summary of the project’s goals and expected outcomes. Mention the challenges you expect the team to encounter and provide plans for overcoming them.

Problem

State the problem the project addresses. If possible, write it in terms of the user’s perspective to give readers a clear understanding of the desired end-user experience.

Project Objectives

List the specific objectives the project should meet to address the primary problem. Describe the project's end result and include helpful diagrams or mockups that visualize the intended outcome.

Scope

Describe how narrow or broad the project’s goals are, and list and limiting factors the team must stay within — such as avoiding tech debt, keeping costs low and meeting deadlines.

Stakeholders

List all the stakeholders involved in the project and state their roles and responsibilities.

  • Marketing lead: [Name and contact info]

Implementation

Provide instructions for some of the tasks the team will need to take on. For complex tasks, link to separate SOPs that provide more detail.

Identify the specific deliverables the team must make, such as assets, software, or web pages.

Project Timeline

Outline a project schedule that clearly organizes all the deliverables into a series of deadlines. Label and dependencies so team members know which deliverables have no flexibility on the timeline.

Describe the project’s allocated budget and list all costs it will cover.

Risks and Challenges

Identify possible obstacles you expect the team to encounter and provide instructions for overcoming them. Link to any helpful and relevant guidelines or troubleshooting guides.
